This warranty (measured from the warranty registration date) takes over upon expiry of the Distributor’s Warranty. It is free to the original owner, and transferrable to subsequent owners upon registration with Acura. The details of the Major Component Warranty coverage may be found in the Acura Warranty Manual. Also, there is no deductible to pay should your Acura ever require repairs covered by this Warranty. The Major Component Warranty guarantees that, under normal use and maintenance, all specified major components will continue to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Please refer to the Acura Warranty Manual should your require any further information.

This warranty is a guarantee that under normal use and maintenance, the part of the new Acura (including all major components) deemed defective in material or in workmanship under normal use for a period of 48 months (from the warranty registration date) or 80,000 km, whichever comes first is covered. Please note, light bulbs and wiper inserts are limited to one year/20,000 Km, whichever comes first. Any other exceptions to this warranty please refer to the warranty manual.

This warranty guarantees that the emission control systems in new Acura vehicles conform with all published Canadian Federal and Provincial emission control standards. Any defects in material and workmanship in the emis¬sion control systems which cause non-compliance with those standards will be repaired or replaced with new Acura parts or Acura-approved parts at no cost to you. This will be done immediately upon acknowledge¬ment by Acura that such defects are attributable to faulty material or workmanship at the time of original manufacture. All emission control components are covered under the basic vehicle warranty for 48 months or 80,000 km, whichever comes first. Please refer to the Acura Warranty Manual for further details
